On Friday, 11 October 2024 Jesica López will defend her doctoral thesis in Environmental Science. The title of here thesis is From canopy to catastrophe. Understanding the environmental crisis in northern Colombian Amazon.

The faculty opponent is Jun-Prof. María Piquer-Rodríguez from the Institute of Geographical Science at Freie Universität Berlin.
